Historic Year of Firsts 💜

The 2025 Chicago Pride Parade was more than a celebration—it was a powerful reminder of the strength we share when we show up United in Pride.

This year—our first operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization—we witnessed powerful “firsts” that showed what Pride looks like when community leads the way.

For the first time ever, a local community organization, TaskForce Prevention & Community Services, stepped out front to lead the Chicago Pride Parade. Their decades of service to LGBTQ+ youth on the West Side, especially in underserved communities, remind us why visibility, equity, and support are needed every single day.

We also honored Dr. Maya Green and Dr. Catherine Creticos as our 2025 Community Grand Marshals. In another historic milestone, Dr. Creticos became the first ally ever to receive this honor—proof that creating safety, health, and belonging truly takes all of us standing together.

These powerful firsts remind us what’s possible when our community shows up—and why your support matters so deeply.
