Hi, it's Philip and Meera, the founders of Unscripted. We’re so excited to launch our 20/2020 Campaign, capped by our Virtual Fall Celebration to bring together our volunteers, teaching artists, friends, and supporters - the whole Unscripted family.

Campaign:

Our goal is to raise $20,000 by the end of 2020 to bring Unscripted to 20 classrooms this Spring. Unscripted is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and all donations are tax-deductible - you will be emailed a donation receipt once the transaction is complete. Our campaign will conclude with a Virtual Fall Celebration on December 2nd 9pm ET, the day after Giving Tuesday, and anyone who donates anything at all will be invited to join us. Progress:

Despite the challenges of launching during the pandemic (May 2020), we’ve been able to accomplish the following:

We've formed 6 partnerships with Philly public schools to offer free 8-week improv workshop series
We work with 146 students from grades 6-12 in 12 virtual classrooms
20 teachers are gaining 80 hours of ACT 48 continuing education credits due to our accreditation from the Pennsylvania Department of Education

Virtual Fall Celebration

Our virtual fall celebration on Wednesday, December 2nd at 9pm EST is an opportunity to share our successes, highlight our students and champions, and celebrate a successful first semester. Any donation will give you access to the event, and you will receive 1 raffle ticket for each $25 you donate (if you donate $100, you will receive 4 raffle tickets).

The Unscripted Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Philadelphia, PA (www.unscriptedproject.org). Our mission is to equip students with the building blocks for personal and professional success (like speaking confidently, collaborating effectively, and growing from mistakes) through the power of an improv education.
