The Kraus-Hartig VFW Post 6587 has been a staple of the Spring Lake Park community for years, and has unfortunately fallen on hard times lately. Post 6587 has multiple large meeting halls that host events from craft fairs to gun shows, and scouting events to funerals.

Additionally, the post is the last remaining local bar that offers pull tabs by the Spring Lake Park Lion's Club!

Open to all, and with a rich tradition of giving back to the local community, many building repairs and other unexpected costs have put the post financially behind and have created an unsustainable situation where the post isn't able to act on its history of giving back to the community and serving as a gathering point.

There have been plumbing issues galore, a broken refrigerator compressor, and more - as the original building approaches 80 years old, some repair needs are expected, but the post has had too many expenses all at once to bear it all.

That's where you come in - help us get back on our feet and begin contributing to the community again - any amount will help. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
