The idea for the Live Sweet Foundation started with our family and grew into something much bigger.

We have seen firsthand how much the right support, opportunity, encouragement, and kindness can mean for a person with a disability and for the people who love them.

Inspired by my daughter Jamie, I created the Live Sweet Foundation with the hope of helping more people with disabilities and their families feel supported, included, valued, and surrounded by a community that believes in what is possible.

Jamie has taught us something simple but powerful: everyone needs a team.

That idea has become the heart of what we are building.

What We Hope to Do

The Live Sweet Foundation is about creating opportunities, strengthening support systems, and helping build more inclusive communities for people with disabilities and their families.

As the Live Sweet Foundation grows and funding allows, we hope to:

Provide grants that help individuals and families access meaningful opportunities and support
Offer support and connection for caregivers
Build partnerships with schools, nonprofits, businesses, and community organizations
Recognize educators, therapists, aides, coaches, and others who make an extraordinary difference
Develop initiatives that promote kindness, inclusion, and belonging

Sometimes the biggest difference starts with something small — a child being included, a family getting help when they need it, an educator being reminded that their work matters, or a community creating an opportunity that did not exist before.

Those are the moments that Live Sweet is about.

We Are Just Getting Started

The Live Sweet Foundation is a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we are building it carefully and thoughtfully from the ground up.

Early support will help us put the right systems in place, develop programs, build community partnerships, and prepare for our first grant opportunities so we can serve people with disabilities and their families responsibly for years to come.
