Meet Parker, a dedicated shortstop and right handed pitcher for the Nevada Nukes whose love for baseball runs deep. He has played baseall since he was little, and over the years, the game has become so much more than just a sport to him--it is his passion, his happiness, and a huge part of who he is. Baseball has taught him countless lessons about hard work, failure, and dealing with pressure, but it's also rewarded him with meaningful friendships, a competitive drive, and a feeling of accomplishment. Parker feels the most himself when he is out on the field doing what he loves. However, when he's not on the field he is studying, watching, or talking about the game!
Parker has dreamed of going to Cooperstown for years, imagining himself stepping onto the field and having the opportunity to play in one of the most iconic baseball experiences a young athlete can have. Now, that dream is within reach! In the summer of 2027, Parker and his Nevada Nukes teammates will have the opportunity to travel to Oneonta, New York and compete in this incredible 7 day tournament.
Why is Cooperstown so special? This week long youth baseball tournament is only to be played during a child's 12U season, making this a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
We are raising money to help Parker and his team with the expenses associated with attending the Cooperstown tournament. For a young baseball player who has poured countless hours, practices, games, and so much heart into the sport he loves, this trip would mean more than words can express. It would be a chance to celebrate all of his hard work and create memories with his best friends that will carry with him long after the final pitch.
