💛 💛 PLUMAS LAKE GOES GOLD: WAGONS OF HOPE💛

September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and this one is incredibly close to our hearts.

A few years ago, our daughter Hailey was diagnosed with osteosarcoma at just 17 years old. Our world changed overnight. She went through 9 months of aggressive chemotherapy, surgery, countless hospital stays, scans, transfusions, and more than any teenager should ever have to endure.

During one of the hardest times of our lives, Mama Bears Fighting Childhood Cancer showed up for our family.

They brought us one of their wagons filled with items to help us get through treatment. When your child is diagnosed with cancer, you're suddenly thrown into a world you never expected to be in. Having people show up and say, “We've been here. We see you. We're here to help,” means more than we can ever explain.

Thankfully, today Hailey is a cancer survivor!!!💛🎗️

We haven't forgotten the people who helped carry our family through those days, and now that we have Sugar Bee Treats, we have an opportunity to pay that kindness forward.

Throughout September, a portion of our Sugar Bee Treats sales will go toward helping Mama Bears provide another newly diagnosed pediatric cancer family with one of their incredible wagons.

🐝💛 AND WE'RE MATCHING YOUR DONATIONS! 💛🐝

Sugar Bee Treats will match community donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $1,000!

Our goal is to come together as a community and be able to say:

💛 PLUMAS LAKE HELPED FUND THIS FAMILY'S WAGON.💛

Every $1 matters. Every ice cream, snow cone, lemonade, and donation helps us get closer.

This isn't just another fundraiser for our family.

We've been the family receiving the wagon. Now we get to help give one. 🥹💛

Let's show another family what our amazing community can do when we come together.
