Northstar Backgammon started with three friends who share a passion for a game that has brought us countless hours of competition, laughter, learning, and friendship. Along the way, we realized that backgammon isn't just about rolling dice or moving checkers—it's about bringing people together.

That's why we created Northstar Backgammon, a Minnesota 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to growing the game through education, welcoming events, tournaments, and an inclusive community where everyone—from complete beginners to experienced players—has a place at the table.
