Service Before Politics

Central Texas has always been home.

I was born and raised in Texas, and for most of my adult life, Central Texas has been where my story has unfolded. In the early 2000s, I walked into the Army recruiting station next to the mall—a place many longtime residents will remember—and made the decision to serve our country.

The Army took me around the world. I served overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan, where I learned the true meaning of leadership, sacrifice, resilience, and service.

When my military career came to an end, I had a choice about where to build the next chapter of my life.

I chose to come back to Central Texas.

I requested Fort Hood as my final duty station because I wanted to return to where it all began—to the people, the community, and the values that first inspired me to serve. My family and I chose to put down permanent roots here, and for more than a decade, Copperas Cove has been the place we have proudly called home.

For years, I have been serving the people of Copperas Cove—not because I held elected office, but because our community needed someone willing to step up.

As an Army Combat Veteran, small business owner, community advocate, and longtime Copperas Cove resident, I have dedicated my time to bringing people together, connecting families with resources, supporting veterans and first responders, organizing community events, and helping neighbors during times of crisis.

When families needed food, we created Market with a Mission, helping thousands of families access groceries, essential supplies, and community resources.

When veterans, first responders, caregivers, and families needed connection, we created Goat Hikes and community wellness programs focused on reducing isolation, strengthening relationships, and improving mental wellness.

When organizations needed someone to help bring people together, I answered the call.

I have never waited for a title to serve.

I have simply served.

My life has always been guided by three simple commitments:

I served my country.

I raised my family.

Now, I serve my community.

That isn’t just a campaign slogan.

It’s the life I’ve chosen to live.

Why I’m Running

I’m running because I believe local government should be built on trust, transparency, and service.

Copperas Cove is filled with hardworking families, active-duty military, veterans, retirees, educators, first responders, and small business owners who deserve to know their voices matter.

Local government should never lose sight of the people it serves.

I believe our city works best when it is:

Focused on residents first

My commitment is simple.

Listen before making decisions.
Work with every member of our community regardless of background or political affiliation.
Support responsible growth while protecting the character of Copperas Cove.
Strengthen communication between City Hall and residents.
Advocate for veterans, military families, seniors, youth, first responders, local businesses, and every resident who calls Copperas Cove home.

This campaign is about bringing people together—not dividing them.

It is about community before politics.

Now, I’m asking for the opportunity to continue serving our community as your representative on the Copperas Cove City Council Place 7.
