Can one small seed in the hands of a child change our world? At H.O.P.E. Gardens, we believe it can.

Watch a child pull a carrot from the ground for the first time. Their eyes light up as they brush away the soil and take a bite. They discover where food comes from, and that their own hands can help it grow.

That discovery grows beyond the garden. Children gain confidence and learn patience and care. Families grow food together. Neighbors share a harvest and find common ground.

Each year, H.O.P.E. Gardens brings garden education to 3,600 students across 16 schools in four West Michigan school districts. We also support three community gardens where children, families, and neighbors grow healthy food and build connections.

With the loss of SNAP-Ed funding, the future of school garden education needs new community support. This Giving Tuesday, your gift can help keep garden lessons growing by providing caring educators, seeds, plants, tools, and supplies.

Will you help us place a seed in the hands of a child?

Together, we can grow healthy food, confident children, stronger communities, and hope for the future.

With gratitude,
The H.O.P.E. Gardens Team
