For 70 years, Special Needs Cobb has been a light for individuals with developmental disabilities and the families who love them. While our services have evolved over the decades, our commitment has remained the same: ensuring every person has the opportunity to live a safe, supported, and meaningful life.

Today, we own and maintain 23 licensed group homes that provide lifelong housing for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These homes are more than buildings—they are places of stability, independence, friendship, and belonging. For nearly half of our residents, there is no living family or no active family involvement, making the support they find here even more meaningful.

As the needs of our homes and the people we serve continue to grow, so does the need for a strong and sustainable organization. Your generosity helps meet our greatest needs—from maintaining safe, accessible homes to supporting the day-to-day operations that make our mission possible. Every gift strengthens our ability to provide lifelong housing, connect families with vital resources, and ensure adults with developmental disabilities have the support they deserve today and for generations to come.
