Summer camp at Place to Be Me is more than just fun—it’s a life-changing experience for children with special needs. Our campers thrive in an environment designed to celebrate their abilities, build confidence, and create joyful memories.

This summer, we invite you to be a part of this incredible journey by sponsoring a camper. PTBM welcomes 30 campers per day and 60% of those campers attend for free or at a reduced cost.

Your donation will directly support one or multiple campers this summer:

$40 - Covers ONE camper for a day of camp.

$160 - Gives ONE camper a week of camp.

$320 - Provides TWO campers one week of camp.

$800 – Sends FIVE campers to camp for a week.

Our specialized programs provide children and adults with special needs a place to grow, connect, and thrive—but many families face financial barriers that prevent them from accessing these life-changing opportunities. Place to Be Me, Children's Dispensary Programs is a not for profit organization that provides social, educational, and recreational programs serving individuals,. age 6+ with developmental disabilities.

OUR PROGRAMS

Place to Be Me School Year Programs (September - May) - This social and recreational program allows for interaction while individuals of all abilities experience fun in physical activities such as bowling, swimming, games, music, art, and group activities. Programming is held Monday and Wednesday evenings and on some Saturday mornings.

Place to Be Me Summer Camp (June - July) Camp includes exciting days jam-packed with fun! From arts and crafts and culinary arts activities to field trips and more.

Adult Program - Meets twice per month for outings in the community.
