Way back in 2016, our co-founders Dan and Lex first conceived of creating a podcast as a way of researching a book focused on what was then being called the "Jewish innovative ecosystem", made up of a number of start-up organizations who had been having success with initiatives aimed at unaffiliated Jews. The goal was to come up with a theory of the Jewish future based on the potential for what was gaining traction then to accelerate the process of broader Jewish transformation.

The first episode "Genesis" ended up being destroyed and re-recorded, in our own version of creation and the flood. Lo and behold, the Judaism Unbound podcast quickly found an audience beyond Dan and Lex's expectations, and soon became one of the most listened to Jewish podcasts. Fast forward to the present, and the podcast has been listened to an incredible more than 2.5 Million times! Yes, we know this sounds like the suspect numbers in the Torah regarding the age of Methuselah or the numbers of people who fought and died in battles, but in our digital age we are able to get precise measurements.

This week we mark a HUGE milestone with the release of our 500th episode!!
