Mission statement

Giving Back for Batya (GBB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing relief for the homeless population in Seattle by providing food, supplies, or any resources they might need. We aim to work closely with the people we are trying to support in order to help them in a way that best works for them. At GBB, we are driven by our belief that every human deserves to be treated with kindness and respect and strive to help people in a way that allows them maintain their dignity.

Our Impact

Distributed over 200 care packages containing food, toiletries, emergency blankets, hats, gloves, socks, food, and many other living necessities.
Provided meals, snacks, or essential items for over 100 people we encountered on the street.
Provided meals for 120 men residing in homeless shelters.

Other Ways to Donate

We are always looking for donations of lightly used winter gear and camping gear, especially

Coats, sweaters, clothing, and shoes
Umbrellas, tents, sleeping bags, blankets

We also collect old phones, tablets, and computers so that we can offer a "library" to people who don't have access to computers and internet when we distribute goods.
