Why We Exist: The Artists' Commission (Formerly Painting Freedom Ministries) exists to reach the world with the Gospel through the arts.

What We Do:

We fulfill this mission through our three initiatives: Legacy Arts Chester (local), Painting Freedom (National) and The Poema Project (International). Each of these initiatives leverages the arts to connect people to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Whether is protecting and empowering the vulnerable youth of Chester, preaching and painting God's Word for thousands across the country or caring for the forgotten children of Tanzania, we are committed to using art to serve each of these needs.

We only exist because of the generosity of supporters and partners like you. Our Annual Fundraiser Banquet is our largest fundraising event of the year and provides the financial bedrock for all of our ministry efforts throughout the year.
