The challenge before us—to keep Orange County rural—has expanded far beyond Orange County. The threat posed by Valley Link's Joshua Falls to Yeat high-voltage transmission line extends across nine counties.

We have undertaken the mission of standing against a colossal corporate giant, Valley Link (a.ka., Dominion Energy). Yet we remain undaunted by the odds, remembering the story of David and Goliath, as we face a similar challenge today.

We believe the most powerful legal weapon available to stop Valley Link from damaging thousands of acres of farmland and impacting the lives of countless citizens is a combination of strong community support and the best legal team we can assemble. For weeks, our volunteer researchers have been meticulously laying the foundation for what we believe can become a compelling legal case.

But we cannot fight without funding.

When Valley Link submits its project to the State Corporation Commission, we must be prepared to challenge them with a winning strategy. We must also be prepared to carry that fight as far as necessary, including to the Virginia Supreme Court.

Without your generous support, we risk being forced to live with irreversible damage to the land we love. Your contribution matters—no matter the amount. The first Valley Link mailing in February reached approximately 120,000 households. If every impacted citizen contributed just $25, we would have more than enough funding to retain the strongest legal team possible and fully defend our communities.
