HELP VENEZUELA HEAL, REBUILD & BECOME A SENDING NATION

A $100,000 Initiative for Relief, Healing, Discipleship, Restoration & Global Mission

Relief. Healing. Discipleship. Restoration. Multiplication. Mission.

In the aftermath of the recent earthquakes, Venezuelan families in affected communities are facing far more than damaged homes and immediate physical needs.

There is grief. There is trauma. There is uncertainty. And recovery will take time.

But in the middle of this suffering, we see an extraordinary opportunity:

To equip the Venezuelan Church to help heal and rebuild its own nation—and, in the process, raise up disciples and missionaries who can carry the same practical compassion and hope of Jesus to other nations.

Breath of Life International is working alongside Pastor Jorge Rodríguez, our missionary and ministry partner in Venezuela, and other Venezuelan Christian leaders to mobilize and equip local believers for this mission.

Our initial goal is:

$100,000 TO HELP VENEZUELA HEAL, REBUILD & MULTIPLY HOPE

This is not simply an emergency-relief campaign.

It is an investment in the Venezuelan Church and its ability to bring practical help, spiritual healing, disciple-making, community transformation, and eventually global mission.

“If one part suffers, every part suffers with it…”
— 1 Corinthians 12:26

FROM DISASTER TO HOPE

Pastor Jorge and our Venezuelan partners have developed a strategy built around a powerful conviction:

We cannot preach without caring for people's wounds, and we cannot simply provide material assistance without bringing the hope of Christ.

Pastor Jorge's plan recognizes that an effective response requires order, empathy, sensitivity to trauma, practical assistance, and the Gospel.

The first emergency response has already brought food, medicines, volunteers, and Gospel ministry into shelters. But significant needs remain.

Now we must move from emergency response to long-term recovery.

From relief to healing.

From healing to discipleship.

From discipleship to multiplication.

And ultimately, from Venezuela to the nations.

EQUIP VENEZUELANS TO SERVE VENEZUELA

Our strategy is not primarily to bring outsiders into Venezuela to do the work for Venezuelans.

We want to equip Venezuelan Christians to serve their own communities in the name of Jesus.

Local believers will be equipped in practical and spiritual areas such as:

First aid and basic health care
Trauma-informed care and compassionate listening
Psychological first-aid principles
Community health and practical service
Emotional and family support
Humanitarian response
Relational evangelism
Disciple-making
Servant leadership
Simple church multiplication
Community transformation
Cross-cultural mission

These are skills that can remain in the hands of Venezuelan Christians long after outside teams have returned home.

MEETING PRACTICAL, EMOTIONAL & SPIRITUAL NEEDS

Pastor Jorge's plan intentionally brings these three areas together.

The strategy includes establishing “Points of Peace,” distributing essential supplies, providing psychological first aid, caring for children, visiting homes, listening to hurting families, praying with people, sharing Scripture, providing community meals, and creating opportunities for follow-up.

Additional initiatives include medical and hygiene outreach, resilience and faith workshops, support for children processing trauma, community cleanup and repair, emotional-healing gatherings, professional referral for serious trauma, discipleship, and local leadership development.

This is holistic mission: caring for the whole person while pointing people toward the hope found in Jesus.

THE VISION DOESN'T END WITH RELIEF

We don't simply want communities to recover from an earthquake.

We want to see communities transformed.

Pastor Jorge's strategy moves deliberately from humanitarian response toward a permanent Gospel presence, discipleship, leadership development, church planting, and multiplication.

COMPASSION & CONNECTION

The first stage focuses on listening, serving, understanding post-trauma realities, identifying community leaders and “people of peace,” providing pastoral and psychological support, and establishing relationships without pressure.

The goal includes beginning the first Houses of Peace and small groups in affected communities.

HEALING & DISCIPLESHIP

Relationships then develop into Hope Groups meeting in homes and focusing on faith, emotional healing, family restoration, relational evangelism, and servant leadership.

Pastor Jorge's plan envisions a core of 20–30 discipled adults and multiple active connection groups.

DEVELOPING LOCAL LEADERS & CHURCHES

As disciples mature, local leaders can be identified and equipped.

The goal is not dependence upon outside missionaries.

The goal is Venezuelan disciples making Venezuelan disciples.

The strategy moves toward establishing a permanent local church in the affected region, with new believers intentionally integrated into discipleship and local believers assuming responsibility for ministry.

MULTIPLICATION

Then the process begins again.

Pastor Jorge's plan calls for a trained Venezuelan leader and a seed team of 5–8 believers to be sent into another community, where the model can be reproduced and a second work established.

Serve the hurting.
Help heal the wounded.
Share the hope of Christ.
Make disciples.
Develop leaders.
Plant churches.
Multiply churches.
Send missionaries.

FROM VENEZUELA TO IRAN—AND TO THE NATIONS

But there is another extraordinary dimension to this vision.

What if the Venezuelan Christians we equip today to help heal their own nation become the missionaries we send tomorrow to serve other nations?

One strategic opportunity we are exploring is Iran.

In November 2024, Venezuela and Iran signed an agreement providing for the exemption of visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports. Venezuela's Foreign Ministry officially identifies the agreement as covering ordinary passport holders.

This creates a potentially significant relational and travel bridge between the two nations. Any future missionary activity would, of course, need to comply with the applicable laws, entry requirements, and permissions rather than assuming that ordinary visa-free travel automatically authorizes religious work.

But strategically, the opportunity is remarkable.

THE TRAINING DOESN'T STOP IN VENEZUELA

Think about what is happening.

A Venezuelan Christian is trained to sit beside a family traumatized by an earthquake.

They learn to listen.
They learn basic first aid.
They learn practical health skills.
They learn to care for children and families experiencing trauma.
They learn to serve without expecting anything in return.
They learn relational evangelism.
They learn to make disciples.
They learn to develop other leaders.
They learn to cross cultural and social barriers with compassion.

Those same skills can travel.

The training that helps a believer serve a hurting family in Caracas or La Guaira today can become part of the preparation that equips that believer to serve people in another culture tomorrow with compassion.

Venezuela becomes not only a mission field.

Venezuela becomes a missionary-sending nation.

REBUILD A NATION. EQUIP A CHURCH. SEND TO THE NATIONS.

This is the larger vision:

The global Church helps strengthen Venezuela.
Venezuelan Christians serve and rebuild their own communities.
Hurting people encounter the compassion and hope of Jesus.
New believers become disciples.
Disciples become disciple-makers.
Disciple-makers become leaders.
Leaders establish multiplying churches.
Churches raise up missionaries.
Venezuelan missionaries are equipped to cross cultures.
And the Gospel moves from Venezuela toward Iran and other nations.

This is exponential Kingdom impact.

A donor may initially help provide food or trauma-care training.

But that investment does not have to end with one person receiving assistance.

The person served today can become the disciple of tomorrow.
The disciple can become a leader.
The leader can multiply other disciples.
The church can send missionaries.

And those missionaries can take what they have learned through suffering, healing, service, and discipleship to people and nations far beyond Venezuela.

HELP US LAUNCH THE FIRST $100,000 BY NOVEMBER 1, 2026

Our initial goal is to raise:

$100,000

These funds will help launch and strengthen the first stages of this long-term strategy, including:

Humanitarian relief for affected families
Food and safe drinking water
Hygiene and essential-needs kits
Medicines and basic medical supplies
Community medical and health initiatives
First-aid and basic health-care training
Trauma-care and emotional-support training
Children's and family recovery initiatives
Community cleanup and restoration projects
Training Venezuelan Christian volunteers
Evangelism and discipleship
Houses of Peace and Hope Groups
Leadership development
Church planting and multiplication
Missionary mobilization and training
Strategic teams serving alongside Venezuelan believers
Development of future cross-cultural missionaries

Pastor Jorge's plan also identifies permanent medical equipment that can remain under the stewardship of Breath of Life Venezuela for ongoing community care, including nebulizers, glucometers, oximeters, thermometers, blood-pressure monitors, stethoscopes, and minor-procedure equipment.

$100,000 IS THE BEGINNING

The need is greater than one campaign.

But $100,000 gives us a place to begin building something that can multiply.

Your gift can help provide:

Food for a grieving family
Medicine for someone without access to care
Trauma-care training for a Venezuelan believer
A safe environment for a frightened child
Practical help for a damaged community
A House of Peace in a neighborhood
Discipleship for a new believer
Training for an emerging leader
The foundation for a multiplying church
Preparation for a future Venezuelan missionary

This is about much more than rebuilding structures.

It is about rebuilding lives, restoring communities, strengthening the Church, and preparing God's people to be sent.

Pastor Jorge captures the heart of the vision in his plan: establishing a church in an affected community is not merely about four walls; it is about restoring lives, healing trauma, and rebuilding the social fabric with the message of Christ.

WILL YOU HELP VENEZUELA HEAL, REBUILD & GO?

We are inviting individuals, churches, businesses, foundations, medical professionals, counselors, trainers, and ministry partners to stand with Venezuela.

You can:

PRAY for affected families, Venezuelan believers, churches, leaders, and future missionaries.
GIVE toward the initial $100,000 goal.
EQUIP by providing medical, trauma-care, discipleship, leadership, or cross-cultural expertise.
SEND by mobilizing your church and others to participate.
GO with future teams serving alongside Venezuelan Christians.
ENCOURAGE Pastor Jorge and the Venezuelan leaders carrying this work forward.

IMAGINE WHAT GOD COULD DO

Imagine a community once known for devastation becoming known for hope.
Imagine Venezuelan Christians trained to care for their neighbors.
Imagine traumatized families discovering people willing to walk beside them.
Imagine homes becoming Houses of Peace.
Imagine hurting people becoming disciples of Jesus.
Imagine disciples becoming leaders.
Imagine churches multiplying into new communities.
And then imagine some of those Venezuelan disciples hearing God's call:

“Go.”

Imagine them crossing cultures with practical skills in their hands, compassion in their hearts, and the Gospel of Jesus on their lips.
Imagine Venezuelans serving Iranians.
And imagine the disciples made there eventually carrying the Gospel even farther.

THIS IS EXPONENTIAL KINGDOM IMPACT.

Healing that multiplies.
Disciples who multiply.
Churches that multiply.
Missionaries who are sent.
Nations reaching nations.

HELP US RAISE THE FIRST $100,000.

Your investment can help heal families, rebuild communities, equip the Venezuelan Church, multiply disciples and churches, and raise up missionaries who can carry the Gospel from Venezuela toward Iran and to the nations.

FROM RELIEF TO RESTORATION.
FROM RESTORATION TO DISCIPLESHIP.
FROM DISCIPLESHIP TO MULTIPLICATION.
FROM VENEZUELA TO THE NATIONS.

PRAY. GIVE. EQUIP. SEND. GO.

Queremos ver comunidades transformadas.

Aprende a escuchar.

Aprende primeros auxilios.

Aprende evangelismo relacional.

Aprende a hacer discípulos.

$100,000

Alimentos y agua potable
Kits de higiene y artículos esenciales
Medicamentos e insumos médicos básicos
Jornadas médicas y de salud comunitaria
Capacitación en primeros auxilios y salud básica
Capacitación en trauma y apoyo emocional
Programas de recuperación para niños y familias
Proyectos de limpieza y restauración comunitaria
Capacitación de voluntarios cristianos venezolanos
Evangelismo y discipulado

Estamos invitando a personas, iglesias, empresas, fundaciones, profesionales médicos, consejeros, capacitadores y ministerios a caminar junto a Venezuela.

Puedes:

Imagina familias traumatizadas encontrando personas dispuestas a caminar junto a ellas.

Naciones alcanzando naciones.

ORA. DA. EQUIPA. ENVÍA. VE.
