A few years ago, Verdade existed only as a vision.

Today, we are officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals living with rare, invisible, and chronic conditions through education, advocacy, community connection, and practical resources. Our mission is to help people feel seen, supported, informed, and empowered. This work is deeply personal and deeply needed. Our community knows firsthand how often these conditions are misunderstood, overlooked, or faced in isolation. Verdade exists to help change that.

Now we have been presented with an extraordinary opportunity.

The 6th Global Summit on Nursing Education & Public Health August 17th-18th in Zurich, Switzerland
The Global Summit on Maternal & Child Health - Accra 2026 August 27th-28th 2026 in Accra, Ghana
The Global Summit on Environmental Health & Sustainability October 7th-8th 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal where she will serve as moderator and keynote speaker
3rd International Conference on Gynecology & Women's Health November 16th-17th 2026 where she will serve as keynote speaker and organizing committee member
12th Global Summit on Gynecology, Fertility & Women's Health november 22nd-23rd 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand This event is accredited with CME credits by European Board for Accreditation of Continuing Education for Health Professionals and the American Medical Association, Dr Robichaud will be presenting on Redefining Global Health Outcomes: From Evidence to Action for Rare, Invisible & Chronic Conditions
Global Summit on Maternal & Child Health November 17th-18th 2026 where she will serve as conference chair and keynote speaker
The 3rd International Summit on Nursing, Midwifery & Healthcare Innovation May 17th-18th, 2027 in Florence, Italy where she will serve as Chair
The World Congress Women's Health, Gynecology and Obstetrics (WHGO-2027) June 2nd-4th, 2027 in Prague, Czech Republic

Participation will depend on scheduling, available funding, travel feasibility, and final conference arrangements. Funds raised through this campaign will help Verdade pursue these and other opportunities where participation is feasible and advances our mission.

These invitations create a unique opportunity to ensure that the voices and experiences of people living with rare, invisible, and chronic conditions are included in conversations taking place on an international stage.

During the conferences, Dr. Robichaud will:

Represent Verdade and the communities we serve
Serve in her leadership role
Participate in discussions focused on improving health outcomes
Build partnerships with healthcare leaders, researchers, nonprofit organizations, and innovators from around the world
Identify new opportunities that can strengthen Verdade's programs and initiatives
Bring global ideas, collaborations, and resources back to the communities we support

This is not simply professional travel.

It is an opportunity to advocate for individuals whose voices are too often missing from healthcare conversations.

It is an opportunity to build relationships that may benefit Verdade for years to come.

It is an opportunity to learn, collaborate, and help ensure that people living with complex health conditions are represented in global discussions about the future of healthcare.

How Your Support Helps

Funds raised through this campaign will support Verdade's costs associated with participating in these opportunities, which may include:

Airfare and other travel
Lodging
Ground transportation
Conference and participation expenses
Materials and resources used to represent Verdade
Other reasonable expenses associated with Verdade's participation

Funds will be used at Verdade's discretion to pursue conference and advocacy opportunities that best advance our charitable mission. If funds raised exceed the amount needed for these activities, remaining funds will support Verdade's educational programs, advocacy initiatives, community projects, and resources for people living with rare, invisible, and chronic conditions.
