OUR PROGRAMS

1. Resilient Responders Martial Arts Grant Program

Providing free martial arts training to youth who benefit from structure, mentorship, and physical activity—but may lack the resources to participate.

2. VFR High School Scholarship Program

Offering scholarships to children of First Responders pursuing higher education and working toward meaningful futures.

3. Police & Fire Academy Grant Program

Assisting new recruits with essential supplies, fees, and training materials to help them launch their service careers.

4. Thermo Imaging Grant

Providing Fire and Police Departments with life-saving thermal imaging equipment—tools that save victims, protect officers, and improve operational safety.

5. Howling Heroes K9 Support Program

Supporting K9 officers and their handlers with equipment, medical needs, training resources, and safety gear.

6. Psychological Resilience & Accountability Training

Led by veteran, law enforcement chaplain, and pastor David Kern, this one-day training seminar equips individuals and organizations with the tools to thrive under pressure, build stronger teams, and foster long-term mental resilience.

7. Situational Life Coaching

First responders carry more than just the weight of the job—they face daily pressures in relationships, parenting, finances, and life transitions. The VFR Foundation’s Situational Life Coaching (SLC) program is designed to meet these real-world challenges head-on with personalized, practical support.
