At VFW Roy E. Davis Post 2375, our mission is rooted in a simple but powerful promise: to honor the service, sacrifice, and legacy of America’s Veterans while strengthening the communities we call home.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) was founded to ensure that those who have defended our nation abroad are never forgotten here at home. Today, that mission continues through advocacy, camaraderie, and direct support for Veterans, service members, and their families across the country.

Right here in our local South Texas community, Post 2375 works year-round to make a difference. We provide assistance to Veterans in need, support military families during times of hardship, and partner with local organizations, schools, and first responders to strengthen community ties. From organizing patriotic events and youth programs to offering a welcoming space for Veterans to connect and heal, our impact is both meaningful and lasting.

To continue this vital work, we have set an annual fundraising goal of $2,500. These funds directly support:

Emergency assistance for local Veterans and their families
Community outreach programs and patriotic events
Youth scholarships and educational initiatives
Maintenance of our Post as a safe and welcoming gathering place
Support for national VFW programs that advocate for Veterans’ rights and benefits
