The Fade To Black Arts Festival is a collaborative initiative introduced by Shabach Enterprise, a minority-led, non-profit organization, aiming to honor and celebrate African-American artistic expression through film, music, poetry, and theater. Representing a significant cultural and economic milestone for Texas, the festival not only seeks to highlight the diverse and vibrant spectrum of artistic brilliance but also sheds light on the invaluable contributions made by Black artists to the cultural landscape. Taking place in Downtown Houston and its adjacent areas, the festival is set to feature a wide array of activities, including theater performances, film showcases, appearances by renowned personalities, educational seminars, and engaging programs tailored for the youth. Current partners include The City of Houston, Hobby Center, Alley Theatre, Ensemble Theatre, Main Street Theatre, Stages, Houston Grand Opera, Houston Symphony, Houston Ballet, H.E.B, HSPVA, MATCH Houston, Buffalo Soldiers Museum, HCC, TSU, METRO, Houston First, Wheeler Ave. Baptist Church and many more!
