Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple will be holding our annual Obon Festival July 19-20, 2025. We invite you to join us in person from 3 PM-9 PM both days, with Bon Odori starting at 6:30 PM both nights. Our Festival will be held on the Temple grounds at 12371 Braddock Drive, Culver City.

Becoming an Obon Sponsor is one way to participate in our Obon while providing essential support for the Temple. Sponsorships can be listed by Sponsor name or In Memory of individuals, families or others. Sponsorships are welcome in any amount and those $100 or more will be acknowledged on our Obon Festival page on the Temple website.

Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple is one of approximately 60 Jodo Shinshu temples and churches that are a part of the Buddhist Churches of America. Located in the Culver City area of Los Angeles, we have been promoting the Buddha Dharma for over 60 years.
