VIBES//DC: Build What’s Next

Talent is everywhere. Access to opportunity isn’t.

AI and emerging technologies are changing how we work, create, and build opportunities. But too many people are experiencing this transformation from the sidelines—without access to the technology, networks, experiences, and spaces that can help them participate in what comes next.

Tech Turn Up wants to change that.

This Black Philanthropy Month, we’re raising $5,000 to launch three VIBES//DC community experiences in Washington, DC.

VIBES//DC will create welcoming, high-energy spaces where people can come together to explore AI and emerging technology, strengthen creative and digital capabilities, meet new people, exchange ideas, and turn possibilities into action.

More Than a Workshop

We believe preparing for the future isn't just about learning another tool.

It's about building the confidence to explore something new. The creativity to imagine what's possible. The skills to turn an idea into something real. And the relationships that can open doors long after an event ends.

That's why every VIBES//DC experience is built around Tech Turn Up's Creative Learning Journey™:

DISCOVER → CREATE → BUILD → LEAD

Participants don't simply hear about the future. They experience it, create within it, and begin identifying how they can shape it.

Your Gift Helps Build What's Next

Your contribution will help us provide facilitators, technology, creative materials, hands-on learning experiences, community engagement, and the resources needed to bring three VIBES//DC experiences to life.

Whether you give $10, $25, $50, $100, or more, you're helping create spaces where people can build skills, create connections, and discover new possibilities.

Why Black Philanthropy Month Matters

Black communities have always invested in one another—sharing resources, creating opportunities, building institutions, and opening doors for the generations that follow.

This month, we're continuing that tradition by investing in people's ability to participate in and help shape the future.

$5,000. Three community experiences. One goal: Build What's Next.
