For 50 years, Charles River Rugby has been a staple of the New England rugby community – known for its hard play on the pitch and its friendly nature off the field. Hundreds (if not thousands of players) have donned the Green and Orange to battle on the pitch. Today, nearly 100 players continue this wonderful tradition across our men's and women's+ teams. 

It's hard to imagine that back in 1973 our founders could have known the kind of organization we'd become and the impact we would have on the Boston rugby community. To celebrate this past and our even brighter future, we're gathering on Saturday, December 2nd at Trillium Fort Point. Get ready to cheers all things Charles River, old and new! 

We have an exceptional menu prepared worthy of this anniversary and an open bar for at least the first three hours of the event. In addition to eating, drinking, and dancing, we will be celebrating the 2023 Class of the Charles River Hall of Fame, which will be announced as we get closer to the event.

We scoured the city of Boston to find a location that could fit this celebration and Trillium Fort Point has agreed to be our gracious hosts. This event comes with a maximum of 175 attendees, which would be our biggest anniversary ever. Once tickets are sold out, they are gone. So, get yours now. 

There will be a welcome party on Friday night and potentially a Sunday send-off. More details to come on those as we approach the anniversary celebration.
