Support the Earth Bench Legacy Project 🌎

The Lakeside Intermediate PTO is teaming up with Kids for Positive Change and Lakeside Athletic Boosters to complete the next phase of the Earth Bench Project — a student-led sustainability initiative that began in May 2018 by 4th, 5th, and 6th grade classes. Over 700 students helped build the bench. In 2019, the students pictured traveled to Chicago to share their work and even met the late Dr. Jane Goodall, whose recent passing has reignited their passion to finish what they started.

Now seniors (along with one 2025 graduate), the students hope to install inspirational signage for the Earth Bench, located between Erie and Superior Intermediate Schools, before the Class of 2026 graduates.

Your donation will help bring this meaningful project to life, and any extra funds raised will support Lakeside Intermediate PTO in providing end-of-year activities for students at both buildings.
