About US House Representative Debbie Lesko: Congresswoman Debbie Lesko represents Arizona’s 8th Congressional District. In May 2018, she was sworn in to the U.S. House of Representatives after winning a special election and was recently reelected for her third full term.

For the 118th Congress, Congresswoman Lesko serves on the prestigious House Committee on Energy and Commerce where she serves as the Vice Chair for the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations and on the Subcommittees on Energy, Climate, and Grid Security and Innovation, Data, and Commerce. She also serves as a member of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic.

In the 118th Congress, Congresswoman Lesko was elected to serve as the Region 13 Steering Representative for the Republican Steering Committee, which is tasked with assigning Republican members to the various committees of the House. She was also appointed by House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) to serve as a member of the Whip Team.

Prior to her role in the U.S. House of Representatives, Congresswoman Lesko served in the Arizona Legislature for nine years – the last three of which were in the Arizona Senate. She served as Senate President Pro-Tempore and Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee. She was honored by numerous organizations during her time at the Arizona Legislature, including, “Champion of the Taxpayer,” “Guardian of Small Business,” and “Senator of the Year.”

Congresswoman Lesko received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. She lives in Peoria with her husband, Joe, and they have three children.

Congresswoman Lesko is now running for Maricopa County Supervisor in District 4.

About AZ State Representative Justin Heap: A sixth-generation Arizonan, Representative, Justin Heap is a dedicated public servant with a strong commitment to serving the people of Maricopa County. With a diverse background in law and public service, Justin states he brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the role of County Recorder.

Justin earned his Bachelor's Degree in History from Arizona State University then went on to pursue a Law Degree from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, where he honed his skills as a legal advocate. About Maricopa County Attorney Candidate Gina Godbehere: Gina Godbehere has over two decades of experience both as a Bureau Chief and trial attorney in assignments with a wide variety of bureaus, including Pretrial, Juvenile, Gang, and the Repeat Offender Unit, during which she has tried every type of felony case including first degree premeditated murder.

Throughout her twenty years of service with MCAO, Gina played an integral role in developing the first Juvenile Drug Court, in implementing the Juvenile Transfer Offender Program, and is the Co-Author and Creator of the Ultimate Trial Research Notebook used by prosecution agencies throughout Arizona. Gina actively trains prosecutors and law enforcement officers throughout the state. Gina was born, raised, and currently resides in the West Valley. She graduated from Cactus High School, before receiving a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies and a Juris Doctorate degree from Arizona State University's College of Law in 1995.
