Ignite Your Voice Weekend Experience

Three Days. One Purpose. One Powerful Weekend.

Sometimes healing begins when someone finally has the space to say what needs to be said.

That is the heart behind the Ignite Your Voice Weekend Experience, presented by Sistahs Can We Talk, October 8–10, 2026, at The Center in Wichita, Kansas.

For three days, we are creating spaces where young people can speak honestly, stories of survival can be heard, women can be poured into, and our entire community can gather for renewal.

Thursday: Start the Conversation.

We begin with Generation Unfiltered, a youth and young adult community conversation.

This is not another lecture. We’re creating a space for real conversations about vaping, tobacco, menthol, nicotine, mental health, pressure, relationships, community issues, and the things young people are actually facing.

Christoph Jenkins of Poet Life will help lead the conversation, and we’re bringing food, activities, giveaways, and honest dialogue into the room.

Thursday, October 8 | 5:00–7:00 PM
Dinner provided.

Friday: Hear the Stories.

Friday night is Voices of Life: Art, Awareness & Healing.

We believe there is power in telling the story of what tried to take you out—and then speaking LIFE back into it.

Breast cancer. Childbirth. Domestic violence. Tobacco. Lung disease. Cancer. Grief. Environmental health. Trauma. Survival. Whatever the story may be, there is room for it.

Through spoken word, live music, storytelling, food, fellowship, and health awareness, Voices of Life brings art and advocacy together in one unforgettable evening.

We will also award $1,500 in cash poetry prizes: $750 first place, $500 second place, and $250 third place.

Friday, October 9
Doors open at 6:30 PM | Experience begins at 7:00 PM
General Admission: $25 | VIP: $50

Saturday: Reignite the Women.

Saturday morning, we turn our attention to the women.

Reigniting the Fire Women’s Experience is designed for the woman who has been pouring into everybody else and realizes she needs someone to pour back into her.

Together, we will journey through four areas:

Intimacy — Go Deeper.
Purpose — Walk in It.
Perseverance — Keep Going.
His Presence — Abide in Him.

This will not simply be a conference. We are preparing for an encounter that leaves women refreshed, encouraged, empowered, and reignited.

Doors open at 9:00 AM | Sessions 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Lunch included | Registration required
General Admission: $25 | VIP: $50

And Saturday isn't over.

At 6:30 PM, we return for the Reigniting the Fire Evening Revival, and this experience is FREE AND OPEN TO EVERYONE.

Wear white. Come comfortable. Bring a friend. Come prepared to worship, pray, release, and encounter God as we journey from the Outer Court toward the Holy of Holies.

There will be foot washing as part of the experience, so we encourage everyone to wear comfortable, easy-to-remove shoes.

Why This Weekend Matters

At Sistahs Can We Talk, we believe healthier communities require more than information. People need places where they can talk, listen, learn, heal, connect, and be reminded that their voice matters.

That's what these three days are about.

Thursday, we start the conversation.
Friday, we hear the stories.
Saturday, we reignite the women.

Different generations. Different experiences. Different stories.

One community. One purpose.

Join us October 8–10 at The Center, 1914 E. 11th Street, Wichita, KS 67214.

Your voice matters. Your story matters. And there is still fire in you.
