Vita Poetica is turning five! To celebrate this milestone, we're putting together a special anniversary print edition featuring works from winners and runners-up of the Vita Poetica Writing & Art Contest, along with selected outstanding works from previous issues of the journal.

This anniversary issue will be made available for purchase in March 2025. But you can place a preorder now by making a contribution to our fifth-anniversary fundraiser. During this campaign, one-time donations of $25+ and new recurring donations of $5+/month will include a preorder of our 5th-anniversary issue — in print, digital flipbook, and audio formats — sent to you before its official release! This edition will not be available online in any other format.

If you're not yet familiar with our work, this "best of" Vita Poetica edition makes a wonderful introduction, whether for yourself or a friend. And as additional thanks for your participation in this campaign, we're offering other rewards at various giving tiers, including a workshop ticket, tote bag, and notebook.

Can I preorder the anniversary issue without making a donation?

At this time of fundraising, we are only taking preorders with an accompanying donation. The anniversary issue will be officially released in early March 2025, and at that time, it will be made available for purchase through our website or in-person at the launch party in March (details to come; please subscribe to our email list to receive updates).

How do I preorder more than one copy of the anniversary issue?

If you are preordering two copies, please check out separately with a donation at the $25+ tier or above. If you would like to preorder more than two copies, please contact us at hello@vitapoetica.org to let us know the total number of preorders you’d like to place before making a donation. Preordering helps us plan for enough copies to be printed, so to ensure we have as many as you'd like, preordering is best.

Do you ship rewards outside the U.S.?

Some of our rewards will be available electronically, including the digital flipbook and audio versions of the anniversary issue and the Vita Poetica workshop ticket (many of our events are virtual). We apologize that we are unable to ship the physical print issue, tote bag, or notebook outside the U.S. at the moment. If you would like these forwarded to someone in the U.S. (makes a nice gift!), we're happy to ship them there. Simply include the name and address when you check out. We would still love to send you a note, with a bookmark and sticker as a small token of our thanks, so please do include your international address as well when you check out.

When the anniversary print issue becomes available for public purchase in March, we hope to make international shipping an option on our website.
