For too long, "find a way to give back" has meant scrolling through volunteer sites that weren't built for us — hoping the cause is affirming, hoping the space is safe, hoping someone had already done the work of vetting the organization. We're done hoping. We're building the home that should have always existed.

VolunQueer is the LGBTQIA+ volunteer engagement platform built with and by our community — a place where queer people, allies, nonprofits, Pride organizations, ERGs, and funders come together around real, measurable action, with our trans community centered in design from day one.

This $150,000 launch campaign funds the proof year. It pays for the technology connecting 40+ partner organizations across Salt Lake City, Austin, California, and the CenterLink and USA Prides networks to 2,500+ volunteers ready to serve. It funds nonprofit onboarding, ERG training, and the public impact dashboard that holds us accountable to every shift and every hour. It funds the activations that turn Pride Month, Trans Day of Visibility, and World AIDS Day into community-wide service — and the quiet weekends in between, when someone in our community needs help moving, needs a meal, needs a hand.
