We are witnessing a unique and complex occupational trauma affecting the collective nursing profession. The pandemic inadvertently brought to light the ongoing challenges, unsafe conditions and ethical dilemmas of providing dignified quality patient care resulting in a cumulative care taking trauma not experienced before. Although the pandemic is over, the toll is not.

In 2023, the DTFL team faciliatetd 398 1:1 sessions and counting! This is a 33% increse as compared to last year and we expect this number to increase significantly as nurses begin to process all thay have endured.

61% if these sessions were scholarship based for those on medical leave due to anxiety, depression and PTSD and those facing extunuating life and financial hardship.

Debriefing the Front Lines provides nurse led mental health care through

Emotional wellness programs by board certified nurse coaches (NC-BC)
Sobriety Support
Continuing education (CEU) workshops to nurses working the bedside and beyond.
