Join Tahlequah Area Habitat for Humanity as we celebrate World Habitat Day by bringing our community together for a day of service, teamwork, and impact. Participants ages 16 and older are invited to help build handcrafted picnic tables while supporting Habitat's mission of building strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership for families in Cherokee County.

World Habitat Day is an international observance designated by the United Nations to recognize the importance of safe, adequate housing for everyone. Each year, Tahlequah Area Habitat for Humanity celebrates by raising awareness and support for our local mission. This year, we're excited to add Community Build Day, giving our community a hands-on opportunity to make a difference.

Whether you're an experienced builder or picking up a drill for the first time, everyone is welcome! Registration is $10 per person. No construction experience is required—our staff and volunteers will provide all the instruction you need. Choose to volunteer for one shift or stay for the entire day. Lunch will be provided at 12:00 p.m. for all participants.
