At Hayes Valley Art Works (a member of Intersection For The Arts), we know that change starts with people like you. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission.

HVAW is a rare community space where art, music, and a public garden all grow side by side. We host free and low-cost exhibitions, live jazz, workshops, and a welcoming outdoor space that brings neighbors together. Your year-end gift helps us keep these offerings vibrant and accessible to everyone in Hayes Valley.

As we look toward 2026, we’re raising the funds that keep this corner of Hayes Valley creative and alive — gallery exhibitions, our community garden, hands-on art making, weekend workshops, and our beloved monthly Jazz Jam. After four strong years supported by grants, we want to bring the Jazz Jam back this spring — but to keep it going, we now rely directly on community support.

We’re also gearing up for a new program calendar, including a special Black History Month exhibition and more community-centered art activities throughout the year.
