Hello DC and Virginia AALEADers and Friends!

YOU are invited to attend our End of Year field trip to the Smithsonian American Art Museum for a personalized tour of the Sightlines: Chinatown and Beyond exhibit. We will be collaborating with the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center for this tour!

We will then move into an afternoon of Community Building (fun, games, and a few surprises) at the MLK Library Room 401-G (right across from the Smithsonian American Art Museum)!

Schedule:

11:30 AM - 2:30 PM: Tour at Smithsonian American Art Museum
2:30 PM - 4 PM: Community building, fun, games, and goodie bags at MLK Library Room 401-G
Please join us for the first or second event, or the whole day.

This is a FREE ticketed event for AALEAD youth, family, and friends in AALEAD programs. Youth will receive SSL hours for attending. Friends are welcome, but MUST complete an intake form.

We look forward to seeing everyone on June 7, 2025!

Registration will close when we reach 45 participants. Please register as soon as possible.

All youth must complete an AALEAD intake form to attend (we will email you if you do not have a completed form).

All youth will have the option to arrange their own transportation or use the metro with AALEAD staff.
