Samantha Moreno's Story
My name is Sam, and I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 11 years old. I spent the majority of my journey living in denial. With the help of my older brother, I was able to accept my epilepsy diagnosis after 20 years.
This led to advocacy, raising awareness, and joining Young Adults with Epilepsy as the Spanish Peer Support Provider. I walk to help support young adults and their families feel supported, understood, and connected.
We don't have to do this alone!
