Join us for our Walk A Mile In Their Shoes event!

This Awareness Walk is driven by the urge to spread awareness for sexual assault in Rogers and Mayes counties. According to the Oklahoma State Department of Health, it is estimated that 17% of women and 3% of men nationally have been victims of sexual violence in their lifetime. In Oklahoma, the rate of rape and attempted rape among females REPORTED to law enforcement has been 35-45% higher than the U.S. rate for the past decade.

Help us raise money to serve local survivors of sexual assault and show our support by walking a mile in their shoes.

This event will be held April 18, 2026, at Gazebo Park in Claremore. The Awareness Walk will begin at 9 a.m. with early registration starting at 8 a.m. Bring your family, friends, and coworkers! Create a team and be sure to deck out in TEAL and show your support for local survivors!
