WITS is The Center for Sexual Assault Survivors' largest fundraiser of the year! It is a walk of solidarity to show survivors that we believe and support them, no matter who they are or their story. This year our theme is "One Step At A Time"

It's a march to bring awareness of the issues of sexual violence to our community and to give hope and resources on how we can end sexual violence together. Sexual violence is an issue that affects all groups of people from all walks of life. We want our event to be reflective of that diversity.

What happens at WITS?
WITS 2026 registration opens at 8:00am, and the walk starts at 9am. In addition to walking to support survivors there will be entertainment you don't want to miss! For more information check out our Instagram @visitthecenter!

How Can I Walk at WITS?
Registration Instructions:

Registration Fee: $25 per person.
How to Register: You may register as an individual or as part of a team.
Team Registration: If you choose to register as a team, each team member must still pay the $25 individual registration fee.
Additional Fundraising: Participants are encouraged and welcome to raise additional donations beyond the $25 registration fee if they would like to further support the cause.

What is the difference between individual participation and group participation?
You can join WITS 2026 as a group as well as an individual. In a group participation, you can register as a group consisting of more than two members. By joining as a group, feeling of solidarity can be shared among the members. It’s recommended for companies aiming at teambuilding, organizations, or anyone who would like to enjoy competition with other groups.

Should I make a donation to myself?
Research shows that a large one-off donation on your fundraising page encourages other people to donate more to you. Making a donation to yourself is a great way to kick-off your tally and inspire others to sponsor you.

How much do I have to fundraise?
There is no required fundraising minimum for WITS 2026, but we recommend setting a $250 fundraising goal to start — because fundraisers with a goal simply raise more money than those without one.

Who We Are

The Center for Sexual Assault Survivors is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to creating a world that is free from sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking. All of our services are FREE & Confidential to all.

We provide FREE crisis services to victims of sexual assault (both children and adults), their family members, friends, dating partners, and anyone else seeking services, related to overcoming sexual violence.

The Center plays an active role in the reduction and elimination of sexual violence in our community by providing ongoing community education and awareness events as well as training and technical assistance to: law enforcement, healthcare providers, social workers, school personnel, and other allied professionals.
