Each year, Walk The Wildwood raises essential funds for Kamwenge Secondary and Vocational School (KSVS) in Uganda through Partners in Mission. Over the past 4 years, we have raised over $49,000 for KSVS, helping support ongoing operations for students as well as special projects; including helping to build a new carpentry and welding shop and start construction on a new dormitory for vocational students. This 2026 event marks two big milestones: our 5th Annual Walk on Saturday, August 8th, and the 20th anniversary of the school’s founding! Check out this year’s goal below:

Since opening its doors with just a few classrooms and students, KSVS has grown into a thriving campus currently serving over 1,500 young people with quality education, vocational training (like carpentry, welding, sewing, hospitality, and agriculture), dormitories, and hope—empowering them to break cycles of poverty and build brighter futures for their communities.
