WAGS Pet Adoption is a nonprofit 501c3 (45-2740601) organization that provides the animal shelter services to Westminster, Stanton, Seal Beach and Costa Mesa, CA.

WAGS Pet Adoption is dedicated to enhancing animal welfare through sheltering, adoption, education, spay/neuter, and community outreach in the cities of Westminster, Stanton, Seal Beach and Costa Mesa, California. Our mission is to provide exceptional care, advocacy, and shelter for stray animals while implementing effective, responsible programs. We are committed to working with our local community with compassion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of animals that enter our shelter.

Every animal who enters our shelter has a story. Some arrive lost and frightened, while others have been abandoned, injured, neglected, or surrendered by families facing difficult circumstances. At WAGS, each one receives more than food and a safe place to sleep. Our compassionate team provides medical treatment, daily care, enrichment, socialization, and the time needed to help every animal feel secure and ready for a loving home.

Our work also extends beyond the shelter. Through humane education, TNR spay/neuter programs, volunteer opportunities, and community outreach, we help strengthen the bond between people and their pets while working to reduce the number of animals entering shelters.

This fundraiser represents the next chapter in our story. With the support of our community, we hope to transform an underused area of our property into a safe, welcoming outdoor space where shelter dogs can exercise, decompress, meet potential adopters, and participate in family meet-and-greets. For dogs who struggle to show their true personalities inside a kennel, this space could make all the difference. Additonally, we can afford medical supplies needed for care for over 3000 animals that will enter the shelter this year.
