🏃🏽♀️Purpose Prep Academy Virtual Walk/Runathon 🏃🏽
1. Join the event, choose your donation commitment and schedule your race day in your calendar
2. Pay your pledged amount immediately OR collect pledges for your race from your family/friends to help you donate your intended pledge amount prior to your selected race day
3. Choose your walk, run, or bike goal (Challenge yourself to complete at least one mile)
3. Send in photos/video of you completing your race day (optional)

💰OPTIONAL PLEDGE IDEAS:
1) If you want to donate a smaller amount today, for example, $10 or $15, consider a recurring donation either monthly or quarterly, and spread out your impact over time. We still appreciate it.
2) Gather up a few friends or family members to collectively gift a higher donation. For example, 4 people gifting $15 each can make up for one $60 donation. Pooling resources is always great and it's more people to share in the fun of the walk, run, or bike-a-thon.
3) See what matching gift opportunities are available through your employer or family member's employers. This can double your impact, even if you give a smaller amount. Every contribution matters.
4) Ask family and friends for pledges towards how far you plan to walk, run, or bike. For example, if you plan on a goal of 3 miles or participate for 3 days, you can ask for $5 per mile or $5 per day. Each pledge will generate about $15, which you can then gift on behalf of all the pledges you received. You can combine this with matching donations from your employer for an ever larger contribution.
*NOTE* All contributions are tax-deductible. You will receive a receipt upon completion of your gift.

Join us for the Purpose Prep Academy Virtual Walk/Run-athon! Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just want to enjoy a leisurely walk, this event is perfect for people of all ages. Meet up with your family or friends and walk/run /bike for a purpose.

How It Works:
Participate Your Way: Choose to walk, run, or bike at your own pace, anywhere, anytime between September 1-30.
Choose whether you want to complete one mile or more! You can even break it up for example, run 10 miles, but over 10 different days, 5 miles over 3 days, 3.34 miles over 3 days. Your race, your goal, your way!
Make a Financial Pledge: Choose a fundraising amount to donate on your own, and/or ask family, friends, or your workplace for donations to help fundraise in support of your walk/run/bike.
How to complete your race: You can be a team of one or a team of many. On the registration page, you will have the option to create your team page or join someone else's!

🎯Fundraising Goal:
Our organization's goal is to raise $25,000 to enhance our educational programs and resources for students. Race day registration and donation commitments start at $25.00, but you can choose to pledge more! In fact, $50 from 700 caring souls would help us reach our goal.

The top 3 donors will receive a physical certificate of completion, and a goodie bag containing a race-day medal, a water bottle, a Purpose Prep T-Shirt, other prizes, and bragging rights.
