Water Drop ATL is a grassroots mutual aid project based in Atlanta. Every Sunday morning, we distribute bottled and gallon water, coffee, juice, fresh fruit, meals, hygiene kits, and clothes to our unhoused neighbors and workers with no strings attached. Right now, we’re serving one part of the neighborhood, and we’re hoping to expand this summer to reach everyone in need within a 2-mile by 2-mile area.

Each Week we feed and support over 20–30 neighbors and workers, building consistency and connection. Inspired by Water Drop LA, we believe in meeting people where they are, showing up regularly, and offering resources without judgment or conditions.

We’re not a nonprofit or an institution. We’re a small crew of folks doing what we can every week, because no one should have to go without water, food, or dignity.

Here’s what it takes to keep this effort going:

$30/week for produce
$30/week for water
$20–30/week for meal ingredients (meals vary by temperature and weather)
$20-$30 in supplies such as hygiene, safer sex kits, harm reduction, etc

$100/month for storage space

That brings our total to around $100–110 per week, plus $100/month for storage.
