The Wolverine Bar Association invite law students from across Michigan to the 2026 Law Student Reception, an afternoon designed to expand access to the legal profession through connection, information, mentorship, and community.

This annual reception brings together law students, judges, attorneys, and legal professionals from across Michigan for meaningful conversation and relationship-building. Students will have an opportunity to engage directly with members of the bench and bar, gain insight into diverse career paths, build their professional networks, and connect with resources and individuals who can support them throughout law school and beyond.

Whether you are a 1L beginning your legal journey or an upper-level law student preparing for the next chapter, this reception is an opportunity to build relationships within Michigan's legal community and become connected to a network invested in your success.

Sunday, October 18, 2026 | 2:00–5:00 p.m.
Wayne State University Law School

Law students from all Michigan law schools are welcome and encouraged to attend. BLSA presidents, bar/legal association board members, law school leaders, and members of the legal community are encouraged to share this invitation broadly with students who may benefit from this opportunity.
