A shy 8-year-old who barely speaks above a whisper proudly presents her first plated meal.

A 12-year-old boy who struggles in the classroom lights up when he realizes he can lead a team at the stove.

A teenager discovers that cooking isn’t just about food — it’s about discipline, creativity, leadership, and believing in yourself.

This is what the We aRe HER Coed Youth Summer Culinary Camp is all about.

This isn’t just a cooking camp.

It’s a confidence-building, leadership-developing, skill-sharpening experience where boys and girls ages 5–17 learn how to:

✔ Follow through with responsibility
✔ Create something from scratch
✔ Lead with confidence
✔ Develop life-long culinary and life skills

As an Executive Chef and founder of We aRe HER, I’ve seen firsthand how the kitchen transforms young people. The kitchen doesn’t judge. It teaches. It challenges. It builds resilience.

And for many of our youth, this camp is more than just summer fun.

It’s structure.
It’s mentorship.
It’s exposure.
It’s possibility.
