Ihya Ulum al-Din: Weekly Revival

Join Imam Mohamed Magid, Resident Scholar of the ADAMS Center, for a weekly study of Imam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali’s Ihya Ulum al-Din (The Revival of the Religious Sciences), one of the great works of the Islamic scholarly and spiritual tradition.

The Ihya explores how to live the faith with both outward practice and inward excellence, addressing worship, everyday conduct, purification of the heart, character, and the virtues that draw a person closer to Allah. Drawing on more than three decades of community leadership, teaching, and spiritual guidance, Imam Magid brings this timeless text into conversation with the realities of contemporary Muslim life.
