Help Us Continue this Amazing Program

Imagine being a child forced to flee your home.

A new country. A new school. A new language. New expectations. Nothing is familiar, and everything feels overwhelming. This is the reality for refugee children resettling in St. Louis.

At Welcome Neighbor STL, our Tutoring Program helps refugee students in grades 5–12 build the confidence and support they need to succeed. Each week, students receive help with English, math, and homework.

One of the most meaningful outcomes of this program is the relationships formed between volunteer tutors and the students. These relationships grow into friendship and a true sense of belonging - something all children need.

But today, this life-changing program is at risk.

We have lost the federal funding needed to continue this program.

We are urgently raising $45,000 to cover all costs to run this program for the 2026/27 school year. Will you help us continue this transformative program?
