As November arrives, our students are learning how to put their gardens to rest for the winter. They are discovering that fallen leaves are nature's gold, that roots left in the ground continue to nourish the soil, and that even when a garden looks quiet, life is still busy beneath the surface.

One of the kids' favorite activities is making Compost Soup! They love mixing shredded leaves, coffee grounds, sawdust, chopped green plants, and water, then giving it all a big stir! It's a messy, joyful way to discover how nature turns garden scraps into rich, healthy soil.

At H.O.P.E. Gardens, we teach children that caring for a garden doesn't end with the harvest. By nurturing the soil today, we are preparing for new life in the spring.

Your monthly support works much the same way. Even when the gardens are resting, your generosity continues to nurture the children and families we serve, helping curiosity, confidence, and a love of nature take root.

Thank you for being part of the H.O.P.E. Garden Circle. Your faithful support means more to us than you know, and we are so grateful to have you as part of our gardening family.

With heartfelt gratitude,
