West Coast Drum Shop & Drum School

We are the greater Seattle area's locally owned, stand-alone, expertly staffed drum shop, music store, and music school featuring a full roster of experienced teachers for drums, guitar, ukulele, voice, and piano. Our shop carries all major brands of drums, cymbals and hardware, stocks a vast selection of used drum gear, and takes trades regularly. We feature both high-profile drummers and local legends in our drum clinics, and regularly host events for our drumming community. Because of our relationships with our vendors, we can fully stock your local school or business with percussion instruments for educational and team building purposes. Our website is fully-featured with a gigantic online store where you can browse our inventory and ship worldwide. We regularly provide In-house repair, drum tuning, in-home service, drum technicians, practice rooms (monthly and hourly rental), you name it. Our product selection includes acoustic and electronic kits by DW, Roland, Tama, Ludwig, Yamaha, EFNote, Dunnett, Keplinger, Zildjian, Paiste, Sabian, Istanbul, Bosphorus, Meinl, Sonor, Gretsch, Pearl, British Drum Co., George Way, Savage Custom Drums, A&F, and more. We carry drums, cymbals, a large snare drum selection, hardware, accessories, parts, apparel, sticks, heads, and pretty much everything else you could think of. We are here for you!

History

Established in 2020.

Our drum shop occupies the same space as the legendary Donn Bennett's Drum Studio that started it all in the mid 1990s. A few years back, Donn sold the business to new ownership that moved to a different location, changed the name and discontinued lessons and education. In 2020, Chase Culp, a longtime teacher at Donn Bennett's decided to open his own drum shop in the original location and restore the reputation for outstanding customer service, clinics and education, gear selection, world class product support, clinics and some of the best drum teachers the Seattle area has to offer. In a few short years, we now have a fully-stocked website with world-wide shipping and a social media presence with a variety of content to enjoy. We are here to serve the local drumming community for years to come and we look forward to seeing you in our shop soon!

Donated Funds will be used to support professional drum clinics - travel, honoriums, related marketing, student recitals and drum school expenses to keep costs affordable for low income students and student scholarships
