Last year, more than 60k people came together in downtown Reno to experience something magical: 35 large-scale illuminated artworks, 70+ performers, local food trucks, and so much more over three fantastical evenings of family-friendly fun, all free of charge!

Now, we’re ready to bring back Western Lights even bigger and brighter – but we need your help.

Western Lights is a community-powered festival. It's an open-air, family-friendly, wonder-filled celebration of creativity and community. We skip tickets and instead depend on the generosity of people like you to keep it glowing. Your donation, no matter how small or large, will bring us one step closer to bringing back the light, elevating local artists, inspiring young people, and showing the world what Reno can be.

New for 2026: With your support we plan to add educational programming, including STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) workshops and artists talks that blend artistic exploration with hands-on learning for youth and adults!!
