We continue to see families, children, and individuals, whether they are working or not, having a hard time getting basic necessities. In New York City, this can mean not always having enough food, stable housing, or access to needed health and mental-health services. This doesn't have to be the case. Together with grassroots organizers, community-based nonprofits, and you, the community, we are working to ease some of the challenges many New Yorkers face every day.

This is a busy and demanding time for many people, so please support in whatever ways feel manageable for you, and only if it feels right. There is no pressure to do more than you can. We are raising funds and gathering donations of non-perishable food items, such as canned goods, dry foods, and reusable bags, to distribute to neighbors who need them most. Every bit of support helps us reach more people and make a real difference. With help from the community, we can be what drives this city toward a brighter future for everyone.
