On October 17 at Count Basie Center's Historic Theater in Red Bank, NJ, we're celebrating our inaugural event "Where the Teachers Are the Stars." With your help, we're hoping to create an unforgettable night honoring the educators who shape our future, in support of TeachRock founder Stevie Van Zandt's mission to keep kids engaged and in school through the power of music.

The evening will bring together artists, awards, songs, and a community that believes teachers deserve the spotlight, closing out the night with a full performance by Kool & the Gang. Proceeds from the event support TeachRock's work bringing music-based educational resources into classrooms nationwide and help provide event admission for educators and students to experience this extraordinary evening.
