This year-end season, we are raising $10,000 in unrestricted support to help Sidney Dance Company meet its most important needs, from sustaining dance education and performances to maintaining and improving the spaces where those experiences begin.

Dance is about more than learning steps. It gives young people opportunities to express themselves, build confidence, develop friendships, and discover what they can accomplish through practice and teamwork.

Making those experiences possible takes more than what audiences see onstage. It takes dedicated instruction, scholarships, a cared-for place to learn, and the everyday resources that keep Sidney Dance Company moving forward.

When Sidney Dance Company thrives, more young people have the opportunity to flourish.

Sidney Dance Company is a non-profit, pre-professional, youth dance organization dedicated to providing dance education, performance opportunities, community outreach, and appreciation for the performing arts in Shelby County and throughout the surrounding areas.

We are thankful to be part of a community that supports the arts and gives the youth in our area the opportunity to perform on stage.

Where They Begin: More than dance. An opportunity to flourish.
