Whittier's pledge drive is our annual fundraiser to support our school community.

Why Do We Need Your Help?

Public funding covers basic district-supported staff and utilities, but it doesn’t stretch to the programs that make Whittier Elementary a standout school. Your tax-deductible donations to the Whittier PTA support:

Salaries for Paraeducators: Providing additional support in classrooms. (Paraeducator salaries are paid by the Whittier PTA, not the school district.)
Classroom Enrichment: Mini-grants for teachers to enhance learning experiences.
IB training: Equipping our staff with IB skills and training.
Garden to Table Program: Hands-on learning about gardening and sustainability.
Community Events: Around the world, Giving Tree, and other events that bring us together.
Food: Teacher appreciation and 2nd lunch program.
Scholarships: Student scholarships offsetting the cost for 5th grade Cal-Wood 3 day trip

Our goal is $60,000. Recommended donation of $250 per student.

Every contribution helps. The fundraising campaign runs through October 31, 2026, but donations can be accepted throughout the entire school year.

If you'd like, this page allows you to create an individual fundraising page. This allows you to invite family and friends to donate on your child's behalf.

If you have any questions, reach out to the PTA (whittierintpta@gmail.com). Cash and check donations (made out made out to Whittier PTA) can be dropped off at the office.

Tax Information: Whittier International School PTA is a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Donations are tax-deductible.
